1. Where is Melide?

Melide is a charming lakeside town in Ticino, Switzerland, near the Italian border, on Lake Lugano.

2. How can I reach the venue?

La Romantica takes place at the Swiss Diamond Hotel Boutique La Romantica (Via Cantonale 1, 6815 Melide), which is just walking distance from the Melide train station. The hotel also offers on-site parking for guests arriving by car.

3. When & Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets for La Romantica Chamber Series 2026 concerts are available solely online. Please note that we do not have an in-person box office, so we recommend booking your ticket online in advance.

4. What ticket categories and prices are available?

We offer several ticket categories, to make the concerts accessible to everyone:

Classico: CHF 70

Melide Card: CHF 59.50

Ticino Ticket: CHF 56

Students (under 30): CHF 25

Young Listeners (6-14 years): CHF 12

Children (0-5 years): Free entry
While La Romantica Chamber Series is not specifically designed as a children's concert, children of all ages are warmly welcome. We simply ask that young guests are able to sit quietly and enjoy the music alongside our other guests.

Verification at entry
For discounted categories, please bring your Melide Card, your valid Ticino Ticket (paper or activated in the Travel Companion MyTicino app), your student card, or an identification document for age verification, together with your purchased concert ticket, to be shown at the entrance.

THE EXPERIENCE

6. Is food and beverage available at the concerts?

Welcome Drink
Classico, Melide Card, and Ticino Ticket holders receive a complimentary beverage, available from 45 minutes before the concert starts, when doors open — the perfect moment to enjoy the hotel's lakeside view. All other guests are also welcome to purchase drinks at the hotel bar before the concert.

Aperitivo
Anyone can pre-order a traditional Ticinese aperitivo or a vegan aperitivo online in advance on our website. It will be ready and waiting for you at your table 45 minutes before the concert begins.

Restaurant & Bar Discount
All ticket holders enjoy a 10% discount at the hotel's restaurant, Le Rive, and the Bar & Lounge Velvet, on the day of the concert, before or after the performance. Reservations can be made directly on the hotel's website.

7. How long is each concert?

Concerts typically last 60–75 minutes, followed by a reception where you can meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

8. Is there a dress code?

There is no strict dress code, come as fancy as you'd like! Whether you choose an elegant evening look or something more relaxed, you are welcome exactly as you are.

POLICIES

9. Are tickets refundable?

Purchased tickets for La Romantica Chamber Series are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once bought. However, if the venue cancels a performance without a replacement date, you are entitled to a full refund. Changes in program or artists do not qualify for refunds.
